What We Can Do

Personal Resources These are things that we can do as individuals to support newcomers. Here you will find prayer resources, ideas for extending yourself to newcomers and opportunities to learn more about immigration issues.

Agency Resources These activities include ways to re-orientate our agencies and/or create new institutions to serve the needs of newcomers.

Public Policy Resources These items will help us speak more effectively publicly regarding newcomers. Hopefully, these resources will sharpen our leadership capacity regarding newcomers both as Catholic Charities member organizations and the whole Catholic community, especially regarding comprehensive immigration reform.

The resources found here are intended to help all of us bring the lived experience of the people we serve to the attention of those in power in an effort to bring about systemic change that promotes justice and human dignity. We hope that you find these resources useful. Additional resources will be developed and added through out the year.
