Catholic Charities USA offers opportunities for staff of member agencies to network with their colleagues at other Catholic Charities agencies and to develop their professional skills.

Annual Gathering
Catholic Charities USA's Annual Gathering, held consecutively each September, are primary opportunities for members to further their professional development and form valuable relationships with their colleagues in the Catholic Charities network.

Parish Social Ministry Regional Training
A Parish Social Ministry Regional Training is a collaborative effort by a regional group of Catholic Charities agencies, diocesan offices, parishes, and Catholic Charities USA to build support and capacity for parish social ministry. It is a weekend-long conference that strives to assist parishioners in understanding and acting on the Catholic social mission.

Volunteer Management
Catholic Charities USA has partnered with Everyone Ready to provide its members with web-based volunteer management support and resources. Staff of Catholic Charities USA member agencies can participate in online seminars, receive Self-Instruction Guides and various additional publications and services either free or at discounted rate. This benefit will also allow members to consult with persons who are nationally acclaimed in the field of volunteer management. Regional Diversity Training
The Regional Diversity Training is a two-day training for Catholic Charities agencies to provide technical competencies and skill sets that are necessary to help them effectively manage diversity, and to create more inclusive organizations. The program is hosted by a local Catholic Charities agency and agencies from neighboring cities and states are invited to participate. Leadership Institute
The Leadership Institute is an intensive weeklong leadership seminar for Catholic Charities directors, administrators, and program directors that integrates leadership and management training with theological and spiritual instruction. The seminar may address such varied topics as diversity, negotiation skills, learning and leadership styles, relationships with Catholic parishes, and Catholic identity, values, and mission.
